Enjoy the game of basketball at our Clarence Wiggins Basketball Clinic

Clarence Wiggins Basketball Clinic, Derby

It’s exciting times with our annual Clarence Wiggins Basketball Clinic only being a day away, Saturday 21st July, starting at 9.30am. If you and your child don’t already have plans, why not come down and spend the day enjoying the game of basketball.

What is it all about?

The day is about the kids! Learning the basics of basketball, gaining skills and of course enjoying themselves. The things Clarence used to instil in to peoples minds when coaching. ‘BIG FUN’.

Who’s it for?

All primary school aged children are welcome to attend the clinic, in addition to all Noel-Baker students and U16 girls.

What will the day entail?

Ultimately, our aim for the day is for everyone to have fun and also come away having improved their basketball skills. Therefore, the day will consist of skills practice, competitions and matches. Participants will mainly be coached by people who played with, or coached by Clarence, with the assistance of other valued members of the club.

It’s Free

This event is free, but donations on the day would be gratefully received. All children who attend will also receive a FREE t-shirt!

Where is it?

The clinic is being held at our usual home venue, Noel-Baker School:

Clarence Wiggins Sports Centre,
Noel-Baker School, Bracknell Drive, Alvaston,
Derby, DE24 0BR
